Bloc Party: Full UK Tour Announced

Following the release of their latest album ‘Intimacy’, Bloc Party announces details of a UK tour in January 2009.
Tickets go on sale on Friday September 26 at 9am. This will be the band’s first UK tour since December 2007.

Dates are as follows:

January
25 - Academy, Glasgow
26 - Academy, Glasgow
28 - Apollo, Manchester
29 - Apollo, Manchester
31 - Civic, Wolverhampton

February
01 - Civic, Wolverhampton

April
11 - Olympia, London
12 - Olympia, London * Extra Date

Bloc Party have just finished a North American tour and return to the UK to play a Q Awards show at London’s Kentish Town Forum on Tuesday September 30 and a very intimate performance for MTV’s Gonzo at the Glasgow Barfly on October 19.
