Get Well Soon: UK Tour Details

Get Well Soon will play their first full UK tour in September/October 2008.

Get Well Soon is the musical vision of 25 year old Berlin based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and philosophy student, Konstantin Gropper.

Live, Konstantin is augmented by a 7 piece band, accompanied by his sister on backing vocals and violin, and his cousin on backing vocals and trumpet.

The band have have a string of forthcoming Calexico support dates in Europe later in the year.

Konstantin released his debut LP this April entitled ‘Rest Now, Weary Head! You Will Get Well Soon’ and the second single from the album, ‘If This Hat Is Missing, I Have Gone Hunting’ was released earlier this month on Nude Recordings.

Film director Wim Wenders (‘Paris Texas’, ‘Buena Vista Social Club’) commissioned Get Well Soon to contribute two songs to his new film ‘The Palermo Shooting’ alongside Portishead, Grinderman, Iron and Wine and Will Oldham.
