Ferret Music has just announced that they have signed Corona, California’s Underneath The Gun.
Guitarist Trevor spoke on signing with Ferret Music,
“Ferret was the best choice for us because we felt that the label had enough resources to fulfill all of our needs as a band, while still being an indie label which would give us the opportunity to have a personal relationship with everyone we work with. We felt this balance was really important to the future and growth of our band.”
Alongside Trevor in the band is Harrison (vocals), Isaac (drums), Kyle (bass), and Danny (guitar).
The band which started when members were twelve years old have previously released two independent albums and built a strong west coast fan-base.
Speaking on their music Trevor said,
“Our goal for the music we write is to bring a pretty aggressive metal approach, but giving our own feel to it without limiting ourselves to one particular genre of metal. We also strive to write lyrics with a meaningful message about what we believe in a way that we feel everyone can relate to.”
The band are currently on the road in the USA with My Children My Bride and while on the road with them they will hit the Taking Back the Streets Festival, a Christian music festival based in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. After they wrap up their month long stint with My Children My Bride, they will hit the road with Don the Reader from August 26th
