Levellers: Headline Glastonbury’s Anti-Slavery Night + Discuss Summer Plans

Folk-punk legends The Levellers are headlining the Glastonbury Festival’s Left Field Anti-Slavery night on the Thursday, making them the first headline band to play the festival in 2008. The Levellers are one of the festival’s most valued artists, having headlined the Pyramid Stage twice. They also hold the records for the biggest Glastonbury Festival stage-front audience for both the Pyramid Stage in 1994 and the JazzWorld stage in 2005. The Levellers are fully funding their own performance and will receive no fee or expenses for their appearance in order to help Left Field raise maximum awareness of the crucial issue of Anti-Slavery around the world.
