Pendulum: Making Of ‘In Silico’ + Radio 1’s Big Weekend Video

Pendulum have spoken out on the difficulties of making their second album, but the Australian act have said they overcame the hardship to bring about one of the most eagerly awaited records of 2008 with In Silico which is released this week (May 12th) on Warner Bros/Ear Storm Records.

The band, who have sold out their entire UK tour for the second time in a row, said: “We went into this album with the attitude that it would be easy, determined to avoid the cliché of a second album being difficult, but it was five times harder than we ever imagined it would be. We underestimated the amount of work that had to go into it to make it turn out the way we wanted it to, but I think we’ve achieved that, and we hope you all enjoy it. This is a new way!”

The live setting is where the new record has come alive in a very big way and recently the group wowed thousands at the Radio 1 Big Weekend, storming the stage and leaving the crowd open-mouthed at what they had witnessed. Even Zane Lowe was quoted saying that Pendulum was his “moment of the weekend”. You can check out part of the set was by watching the video below.
