Children Of Bodom: New Single Out June 9th

“Hellhounds On My Trail”, the new Children Of Bodom single, is all set for release on June 9th via Spinefarm Records UK. The follow-up to the ‘Blooddrunk’ single, also the title of the Finnish band’s latest album, ‘Hellhounds…’ will be made available on two separate formats:-

• CD single in super jewel case with 12-page booklet documenting the Spinefarm Records UK launch show on March 8th this year, an event headlined by COB.
• 12” picture disc

Both formats will feature exclusive bonus content, including a brand new cover of a song made famous by country star Kenny Rogers – ‘Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)’; it’s a number the band found themselves warming to after hearing it on the soundtrack to ‘The Big Lebowski’ movie, a firm tour bus favourite.

The rest of the bonus content will be made up of live tracks recorded at the aforementioned Spinefarm Records UK launch show, along with the video for ‘Hellhounds…’ – the song that opens the ‘Blooddrunk’ album.

Also June 9th, the first four COB albums will be receiving the full re-issue treatment by Spinefarm Records UK. The albums in question – ‘Something Wild’ (1997), ‘Hatebreeder’ (1999), the live ‘Tokyo Warhearts’ (1999) & ‘Follow The Reaper’ (2000) – will come complete with sleevenotes & expanded artwork, plus (in the case of the studio releases) bonus audio & visual content. This is the very first time that ‘Tokyo Warhearts’, recorded in Japan back in 1999, has been made available in the UK.
