  • Having released ‘Scream Aim Fire’ on the 28th January and lead single of the same name a week before on the 21st, Bullet For My Valentine continue their march towards world domination with the release of single numero 2, ‘Hearts Burst into Fire’, on March 31st through Columbia Records. ‘Hearts Burst into Fire’ blends the power and aggression of Metallica, the melody and fret work of Iron Maiden and the pure joy of Van Halen in their prime, and looks set to grasp hold of daytime radio and transform Bullet for my Valentine into household names.bfmv

  • ‘Tulimyrsky’, the latest release from Black Metallers Moonsorrow and the follow-up to 2007’s ‘Viides Luku – Havitetty’ album, has been confirmed for UK release on April 28th via Spinefarm Records UK. Moonsorrow will be on the ‘Paganfest Tour’ on the following dates:

    April
    6th - Koko, London
    7th - Rio, Leeds
    8th - JB’s, Dudley

Criminal have also lined up two headlining shows in the UK:

  • Swedish Viking-metal outfit Amon Amarth have issued the following update: “Back from a two-week vacation we’ve continued working on new songs for our upcoming release. We have a handful of great songs already, soon-to-be Amon Amarth classics, and we still have plenty of great song ideas. On March 27th we’re taking a break from the songwriting, heading out to sea, raiding and pillaging (the bars) at the Sweden Rock Cruise.” Amon Amarth is scheduled to enter Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden in May with producer Jens Bogren to begin recording its new album for a late 2008 release via Metal Blade Records.
